Set up is a fast and simple affair that an adult and child can accomplish together in no time at all. It is also easy to break down and pack away at the end of your trip which can be quite a challenge with some other family sized tents.

Unusually, you can actually enjoy a certain amount of privacy due to the 3 room layout. This enables you to divide your dogs, kids, gear and even yourselves, however you see fit although sound proofing is not available yet!

There is excellent access for everyone, courtesy of the 3 separate doors which means no clambering across bodies, boxes or gear every time you need to get at something.

Wenzel’s weather armor fabric is used throughout but all the seams still need to be sealed against heavy downpours before you set off. Don’t leave it to chance!

Set up is quick and simple for 1 adult without assistance. The walls can be opened to become a complete screen room or zipped closed for privacy and warmth.

The Grand Lodge is definitely one of the best 8 person family tent available.
