Le Camping du Bois de Boulogne has large bathrooms which are kept clean enough. It’s not anywhere you want to spend a lot of time but it’s not dirty either. Just make sure you bring your shower shoes. There is no charge for the showers and there is hot water.

Unfortunately the Internet at the campground is lackluster, unreliable and costly. Instead of WiFi, the Internet can only be accessed through the two computer terminals in Le Camping du Bois de Boulogne office.

Le Camping du Bois de Boulogne has a store and a small restaurant so you can grab a quick bite to eat. Also we noticed the campground sold subway passes but we found out they were more expensive than buying them in the subway station so avoid buying these at the campground if you can.

Traveling to Le Camping du Bois de Boulogne from central Paris without a car:

Use the yellow Le Metro line, in downtown Paris, to the Porte-Maillot station, and then take the 244 bus to the bus stop in the park; the last bus is at 10 p.m. From the stop, it’s about a brief walk to the campground. Alternatively, the campground shuttle picks up passengers at the 244 bus stops and takes them through the park and directly to the campground for approximately 3 euro. The shuttle runs until midnight, and is probably the best option if you are traveling alone since the walk from the park bus stop to the campground is dark.
