Camping Sleeping Bags Review: Coleman Big Game Sleeping Bag with Pillow

I really like this sleeping bag. I bought it for how wide and long this thing is but there are three things I should mention first that I dont like. The first one is how warm it keeps you if your not in the cold weather; you will be boiling at night. Second is the pillow you get. Its small and doesnt have much filling in it but i guess i cant complain though its free with the bag and last I thought it should have came with a bag to put the sleeping bag in instead of the sown on one.

I used this bag a few times in the fall of 07.
With temperatures inside the tent dipping down to 40, I found myself surprisingly comfortable.

Colemans exclusive sleeping bag technologies prevent insulation shifting, heat loss through the zipper, and more

Perfect Kids Sleeping Bag For Your Little Prince or Princess

For that little sleeping beauty, there is nothing more comfortable for sleepovers, casual camp outs and fun in the sun than a standard cartoonish, kids sleeping bag emblazoned with ponies, race cars, or their favorite tv characters. But what about when you take the little ones on vacation with you and you plan to spend your nights in a cold climate in the great outdoors?

It is then that you need to think about investing in a cold-weather kids sleeping bag. Such as a fleece sleeping bag to protect that delicate little one. There is also the chance that the weather will change on your trip and you will need a multifaceted kids sleeping bag to get you through.

kids Sleeping Bag

A lot of your choice has to do with your personal preferences and a little common sense. A kids sleeping bag is a lot like their adult counterparts, they have temperature or comfort ratings based on the time of year, season, or location. Anywhere from a ‘Summer’ with the lightest fabric, to an ‘Extreme Winter’ which is the most heavily insulated, kids sleeping bag available. These ratings help to insure you do not get a bag too hot or too cold for your child.

You also need to think about what size is appropriate for your child. Kids sleeping bags are sized by age, from infant/toddler up to pre-teen/teen ages. A note of safety, never leave an infant under the age of 18 months unsupervised in a sleeping bag. There is a danger of suffocation and the risk of SIDS goes up as well.

It is better for babies to instead sleep with you in your own extra wide or double sleeping bag. Sharing body heat also decreases the chance of those very little ones getting too cold and getting ill. Remember to pick your kids sleeping bag well and try to accommodate the individual child. Make your camping trip memorable and above all, have fun!
